THE CALLING OF PHILIP THE EVANGELIST - PART THREE

Beloved, you are welcome once again to the third series of our Podcast message, entitled: The calling of Philip the Evangelist, a young adult from Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter!., we continue with our Bible reading of the Gospel of John Chapter 1 verses 43,44 and 45:

43 The following day Jesus wanted to go to Galilee, and He found Philip and said to him, “Follow Me.” 44 Now Philip was from Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter. 45 Philip found Nathanael and said to him, "We have found Him of whom Moses in the law, and also the prophets, wrote--Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph." Now the Bible reading from the verse 43 states that Jesus wanted to go to Galilee, and He found Philip and said to him, “Follow Me.” The verse 45 goes on to say that Philip found Nathanael and said to him, "We have found Him……. "We have found Him of whom Moses in the law, and also the prophets, wrote--Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph." 1. In the 11th verse of Luke Chapter 1, the angel who stands in the presence of God, Gabriel appeared to Zacharias and in the 19th verse he announced to Zacharias, the priest about the conception of his wife, Elizabeth and the birth of John the Baptist. 2. Let me quickly read to you the words of angel Gabriel to Priest Zacharias, who was mute (speechless and had to use sign language…. 3. Luke 1:14,1514 And you will have joy and gladness, and many will rejoice at his birth. 15 For he will be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink. He will also be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother’s womb. 4. He did not believe the angel on the counts of old age and most likely in his mind, no sperms! In as much as we can thank God for modern technology of checking for sperms in male species, “For with God nothing will be impossible! (v.37) In the 24th verse, she conceived. 5. In the 6th month, the angel was sent to the virgin Mary in Nazareth. The meeting dialogue between angel Gabriel and Mary is scripted in Luke Chapter 1 verses 26 to 35. I am very keen to shed a light on some of the words of angel Gabriel to the virgin Mary which through the power of the Holy Spirit were confirmed from the mouth of Elizabeth when the virgin Mary went to visit her in the city of Judah! 6. 36 Now indeed, Elizabeth your relative has also conceived a son in her old age; and this is now the sixth month for her who was called barren. 37 For with God nothing will be impossible.” 7. Now, I am excited to share with you in this Podcast the first person who found Him of whom Moses in the law, and also the prophets, wrote—Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph: was the six months unborn baby in the womb of Elizabeth: John the Baptist. This is narrated in Luke 1 verses 39 to 45. What is the fundamental message of Philip to Nathanael that: "We have found Him of whom Moses in the law, and also the prophets, wrote--Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph."? Amazingly, Priest Zacharias on the birth of his Miraculous son, John the Baptist, not only did he prophesy about John’s ministry as the prophet of the Highest (v.76) but went further to speak of Jesus in verses 78 and 79 of Luke Chapter 1. The Bible says that salvation through Jesus Christ is possible through faith in his death and resurrection, and that he is the only way to gain salvation: • John 3:16: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life". • 1 Corinthians 15:3: Paul wrote, “Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures”. Beloved, I am here this very moment to deliver to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, • 1 Peter 3:18: Peter wrote, “For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God”. • Acts 4:12: “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved”. • John 14:6: “No one comes to the Father except through me” • SALVATION PRAYER • Heavenly Father, I thank You for the gift of Your Son Jesus! Lord, I believe in my heart that You died on the cross to redeem me, and You rose again to justify me. • Come into my heart and life Lord Jesus and make me whole. • Cleanse me by Your precious blood and deliver me by Your power. • Let the power of the wicked over life fail and let Your Spirit take over. • Thank You for saving me. Amen • If you have prayed this prayer sincerely from your heart, you can write to PAAWE MINISTRIES on paaweministries@gmail.com.
