  Beloved in Christ, God bless you for staying in the Arising Forum Group over the past year and spending the time to read the weekly Chapters of the Book of Proverbs as an ‘ice-breaker’ into our journey of New Believers who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Saviour and Lord. Bible Studies Questions for John Chapter 1 1.1) In the first verse of the chapter, what beginning does the writer refer to?  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God’ .  ( John 1:1 ) 1.2) Can you name another passage in the Bible which makes mention of the phrase,  ‘In the beginning’ ? ( John 1:1 ) 1.3) In the beginning was the Word ….What Word is the writer referring to that was with God and at the same time was God? ( John 1:1 ) 2.1) Who does “He” refer to?...  2 He was in the beginning with God .  ( John 1:2 ) 2.2) Why was it important that “He” was in the beginning with God? ( John 1:2 ) All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.
